Bredesen Protocol Event July 2026_edited

The Bredesen Protocol®: A Personalized Approach to Brain Health & Cognitive Wellness

Join us for a FREE special educational presentation with Abigail Karius, MD  on July 7th to learn how a root-cause approach may help support memory, focus, and long-term cognitive health.

Dr. Karius is a family medicine physician with advanced training in functional and lifestyle medicine. She completed medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Terre Haute and has pursued additional education through the Institute for Functional Medicine, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, and is  certified as a Bredesen Protocol Provider. Her passion is helping patients identify and address the underlying factors contributing to illness through evidence-based, personalized care.

During this presentation, Dr. Karius will discuss the Bredesen Protocol®, an innovative, multi-factor approach that evaluates many of the contributors to cognitive decline, including:

 Inflammation and immune health
Blood sugar and insulin resistance
Hormone balance
Nutrient deficiencies
Sleep quality and stress management
Gut health and detoxification pathways
Exercise and lifestyle factors that support brain function

Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, the Bredesen Protocol® seeks to identify and address the unique factors that may be affecting an individual's cognitive health and overall well-being.

Who Should Attend?

  • Adults interested in proactive brain health and healthy aging
